| Malcolm Ward
Malcolm gained a BSc (Hons) and MSc
in geology from the University of Tasmania and Queen's
University,
Ontario, respectively, and worked in the
Australian and offshore resources sector between 1981
and 1994.
From 1994 to 2004 he worked at several major
international investment banks in Sydney, specialising
in
resources sector finance. Since 2004 he has
consulted to a number of companies on resources projects
in
Australia and overseas. Malcolm was responsible
for the KUTh IPO and in January 2007, Malcolm was
appointed to the role of operations manager for
KUTh Exploration Pty Ltd, then as Chief Operations
Officer
for KUTh Energy he was responsible for the day to
day technical and administrative operation of the
company until August 2008.
Roger Lewis
Roger gained a BSc from the
University of Tasmania and a PhD from Princeton, both in
geophysics. From
1970 through 1997 he lectured in geology and all
aspects of geophysics at Macquarie University and
subsequently at the University of Tasmania. In
1972 he started a consulting practice which developed
into
Liddington Technology Pty Ltd in 1986. Principal
areas of expertise include electrical and
electromagnetic
methods applied to exploration problems and
interpretation software for down hole techniques. In
2005
Roger reviewed the geothermal possibilities for
Tasmania, resulting in the formation of KUTh Exploration
Pty Ltd which applied for SEL26/2005. He has been
involved in the technical operations KUTh and its
acquisition of new projects. He is the principal
consultant to KUTh Energy Ltd and also to Icon Resources
Ltd.
